Shopping and Delivery Information

You can order products displayed on this website by

  • Ordering online.
  • Emailing or writing to us to request an account - credit check undertaken.

If you have placed your order on-line, we will send you an e-mail to confirm that we have received your order. The email confirmation will be produced automatically so that you have confirmation of your order details. Receipt of an automatic confirmation does not however mean that we will necessarily be able to meet your order. For security reasons we log your IP address. Any orders found to be fraudulent will be passed on to the relevant authorities and your ISP.

If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if do not wish to wait. Quantities may be limited. We may, at our own discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased if your order cannot be fulfilled due to stock shortages, product difficulties, supplier problems or other reasons. Notification will be sent to the e-mail and/or the customer address you provide should such a change occur. We reserve the right to limit quantities of items sold, including the right to limit or prohibit sales to any customer at our discretion and without explanation.

All prices are in GBP (British pounds). THEY INCLUDE VAT where chargeable in the United Kingdom and also carriage for customers in mainland UK only. All prices shown remain valid only for as long as they remain on the website. We get occasional requests from customers in the Channel Islands asking us to sell to them VAT free.

Where VAT is chargeable in the UK it is already applied at 20% and is included in the price shown: YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED EXTRA! Your payment advice will show how much VAT you have been charged as part of your total payment. We get occasional requests from customers in the Channel Islands asking us to sell to them VAT free. To be clear, our position on this is the same as most large UK retailers and is as follows: The Channel Islands is not a part of the EC, and although it is certainly possible for a UK business to ship to the Channel Islands without VAT, it is required that they obtain and keep proof of export so as not to be charged VAT by UK Customs at a later date. This process currently involves significant additional costs, and hence we are unable offer VAT free sales at this time.

Credit Card Security

If you opt to pay online by credit or debit card you will be passed to the WORLDPAY secure payment gateway, use of which is subject to the terms and conditions of WORLDPAY. We do not hold any responsibility for the availability of the WORLDPAY gateway nor calculations displayed on its site. We only accept the order total as displayed on our purchase confirmation page. Please ensure that the WORLDPAY amount is exactly the same value as the order before confirming your payment: otherwise we will be unable to process your order. All credit and debit card numbers are encrypted automatically and are only decrypted after they reach WORLDPAY. They are not held in clear text on any web site. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet.

Delivery is a flat rate charge to customers in mainland UK only. If you are outside of mainland UK please do not order via the site but contact us by e-mail or telephone and we will quote your carriage as it will be dependent on where you are and the weight of your goods.

Cirrus Systems will try to dispatch your order within 2/3 days. Occasionally reasons beyond our control result in delays especially during peak season and therefore you should allow up to 5 days for your goods to arrive, just in case. You will be notified as to when your goods are due for dispatch. If after 30 days we have still been unable to dispatch your order we will contact you to request confirmation of the order. Cirrus Systems shall not be liable for any loss or damage due to delays or failure to ship resulting from any cause beyond its reasonable control, such as but not limited to securing necessary export licences, compliance with laws or regulations, acts of God, acts or omissions of the purchaser, acts of civil or military authority, judicial action, defaults of sub-contractors or suppliers, labour disputes, delays in transportation, embargoes, or wars.
